I began transition in the early 90's and was an uphill battle from the start. Medical people, health insurance, police, and legal. I had no acceptance from family or friends. Barely from the gay community. I had to see people in the mental health community. One psychologist who thought highly of himself said if I came to him earlier "HE" could have changed me. My reply was "I wasn't aware Jesus had returned" and left. An endocrinologist (hormone doctor) wanted castration, why? It would make "his job" easier administering hormones. HIS JOB! Castration doesn't make a person legally female, you're just a castrated male. Worse, after castration, there may not be enough tissue for doctors to work with for reassignment surgery. There is a difference between one's sexuality, sexual preference, and gender identity. I lectured on this for several years. Doctors love to tell me about X and Y chromosomes, to this day they still can't explain to me why I identify as female. Prol'ly cuz I just do. To quote a well known Nuclear Physicist with a PHD in the subject, It can't be so therefore it isn't.

I am 5'10" tall, 42-38-38 blue eyes, ash blonde hair and am half Swedish. The rest is Irish/Italian.
