Love is a fickle thing,
Hard to find, harder still to keep,
In a world where honesty is a luxury,
And trust is a commodity to be bought and sold.

The heart yearns for a pure connection,
A bond that's built on truth and affection,
But in this age of deceit and deception,
Finding an honest love is a rare exception.

We search for that one true soul,
A kindred spirit to make us whole,
But the road is long and the journey rough,
And often we're left with a heart that's tough.

We stumble through the darkness,
Hoping to find a light that guides us,
But the shadows linger and the doubts persist,
As we wonder if love truly exists.

Yet, in spite of all the pain and strife,
We hold on to the hope of a better life,
For we know that somewhere out there,
A love as true as ours will appear.

So let us keep our hearts open wide,
And let the winds of fate be our guide,
For in the end, love will find us,
And we'll finally be with the one who truly binds us.
